Blood Donation - A First!
My friend, Shimer Yoshino and I donated 500cc of blood to the Philippine Red Cross last Feb. 5, 2012. It was one of my firsts. Giving a part of me to help save another person’s life was definitely worth the pain and getting woozy. And golly! I didn’t know needles for blood extraction were that big! haha! =)) I can’t wait to be a GALLONER (that’s when one has already donated 9 times and that’s like 500cc of blood times 9!) I was also surprised to learn that my blood type was an A! All this time, I thought I was an O!
